Sports PR

I have been a sports writer for over three decades now and have covered events ranging from major football matches, F1 Grands Prix to Test Match cricket.

As well as that, I have spent almost a decade working for the PGA media office reporting on Club Professional events, but always looking for the ‘story behind the story’ so as to add colour to my articles.

This made me well known in the world of ‘grass roots’ golf and I strongly believe that no aspect of sport is too small to cover, there is always an angle to get you or your club better known.

My career began working for local newspapers in London before working for the Birmingham Evening Mail and the city’s Sunday Mercury title.

After starting my own business in 2007, I have written for a number of national titles including the Daily Mail, The Sun, The Mirror, the Times and Daily Telegraph among others.

This means that I have many contacts and a ‘way in’ to most national and regional titles as well as radio and TV companies.

If you are looking for publicity for your sport, then I believe I can help you get your message out to a wider audience.
